Jasmine "Jae J" Rogers-Bardere
Jasmine "Jaé J." Rogers-Bardere (born July 26, 1989) is an American model, actress, dancer, singer, and comedian. Born and raised in Dallas, TX., the daughter of Steven Bardere and Teresa Searcy. She is a relative of an internationally known dancer, Stephanie Powell. Jaé J discovered her love and natural gift to be an entertainer at the age of 5. During her early childhood years, Jaé J competed and won many oratorical contest performing the poem "Honey I Love". She performed in various singing and dancing competitions and also walked in many fashion shows. Her mother admired her talent and decided to enroll her in to a School Dallas dance school, "Etta Dance Expression". 7 years with EDE, she performed in the holiday stage show at the Majestic Theater, and The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, "The Ebony Nutcracker", with former members Todrick Hall, and Erykah Badu.
Jaé J attended Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet High School Center where she met her mentor, drama coach, and majorette director, Evelyn Forte-Jones. She found her interest in modeling her Sophomore year in H.S. After graduation in 2007, she began her college education at Prairie View A&M University, she took time to focus on her dreams and inspirations. She learned the significance of brand development and professionalism as she sought out her career as a freelance model. In 2011 she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Mass Media.
A self-described "modern-day feminist", Jaé J strives to be known as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She continues to work towards gaining her breakthrough in fashion and on big screen.
